Floristry - the art of arranging flowers
Characteristic
Classes include 340 hours, including 140 hours of practical classes and 100 hours of theoretical classes, 100 hours of professional practice (florist or florist company). During theoretical classes, the principles of interior composition and decoration, the physiological basis of flowering and aging of flowers, plants used in floristry, accounting and running a business are discussed. The practical part covers all issues related to the design and creation of plant compositions, from occasional bouquets through large forms, wedding bouquets to compositions in a vessel. There are also Christmas and mourning arrangements with the use of potted plants. Classes are held during ten sessions (Friday – Sunday) – once a month.

Duration of studies: 2 semesters;
Recruitment rules: on a first-come, first-served basis

The number of seats: 32
Charge: PLN 3,500 per semester
Place for submitting documents: building 35, room 238, 2nd floor, from 9 am to 4 pm
Studies are not subsidized from EU funds.
